Marina Design and Development

Single family, multi family, commercial, and industrial docking facilities are a principal endeavor of HWA. These projects provide mooring for boats; both wet slip and upland dry storage. Determining a suitable location for these facilities is the greatest challenge. Many factors influence where to construct docks. These include determining water depths at the site, controlling depths in access channels, proximity to protected resources, existing habitats and utilization by wildlife, manatee mortality and abundance at the site and adjacent waterways, suitable upland access, infrastructure availability, boat slip demand, development markets, etc.
