Project Location: Peace River/Hunter Creek, Charlotte County, FL
Project Scope: The project is a 123 acre mixed-residential development with boating amenities located off of the Peace River on Hunter Creek. Amenities include a created inland marina basin and with a surrounding one acre created wetland shelf. Proposed is a dry boat storage building that will accommodate 98 vessels, a restaurant, clubhouse and pool. Also proposed are docking facilities with 47 wet slips located along Hunter Creek and within the marina basin. Work included negotiating an enforcement agreement that adds on the water enforcement of the existing federal speed zone in the Peace River at the expense of the permittee, subject to final implementation of the Charlotte County Manatee Protection Plan.
